A webinar is an online seminar, so it adds the visual element that helps make learning much easier, because attendees can both see and hear the information being presented.
During a webinar, a computer screen is used to display the visuals, such as a powerpoint presentation, some graphics or a demonstration of how to do something on a PC. The best part, though is that it doesn’t have to be the presenter’s screen - he or she can make someone else the presenter and then everyone on the webinar can see what is on that person’s screen.
Imagine the possibilities for training – you can use the webinar software to have a one on one coaching session, where you can see your student’s screen and so can talk them through any difficulties they might have.
